REHAU S781
The subframes, with a profile depth of 70 mm, are made from the same profiles on all sides and welded at the corners. To enhance sash running properties and service life, one or two aluminium rails are clipped onto the bottom subframe.
The sliding door sashes, with a nominal depth of 38 mm, are made from the same profiles on all sides and are welded at the corners. Various glazing beads that engage along the full length can accommodate single glazing and double glazing in glass thicknesses up to 18 mm. The sash profiles are fitted with brush seals which run along the whole length on both sides of the window. This affords a tight seal against draughts and driving rain.
The interface between crossing sashes incorporate an interlock comprising a centre seal profile.
The centre seal profile also has an integral brush seal to ensure a close-fitting joint between the sashes.
The heat insulation properties of windows depend on the thermal insulation characteristics of the glazing, the material used for the frame as well as the size of the window. REHAU-PVC 1476 has a heat conductivity of 0.21 W/mK and therefore usable for regions with an UV radiation over 160 kcal/cm². The use of insulation-type glazing reduces the extent of solar radiation penetrating the building.
The type of glazing used has a decisive effect on reducing noise levels. Glazing can be fitted in a thickness up to 18 mm, permitting the use of sound insulating glazing.
A range of rounded arches, segments arches or top light are available to meet your customers requirements. The risk of damaging the brush seal is minimal as it is protected in the sliding sash. The brush seal is extremely effective as it runs along the whole length on both sides. Sliding sash runs in aluminum rail for wear and maintenance-free operation. The profiles are very rigid and stable despite their slim-line appearance and shallow depth. The profile material is formulated to withstand intense solar radiation and extremely resistant to weathering and colour change. The profiles are also formulated for a long service life, even in areas exposed to aggressive climatic conditions (e.g. coastal regions), avoiding the need for additional maintenance work. Minimal milling work involved as cuts are made only in the PVC walls and not through the reinforcements. In addition to single glazing, it is also possible to fit double glazing for enhanced protection against noise and sunlight. Co-extruded sealing lips on the glazing beads obviate the need to fit a second seal, thus dispensing with a further work process. Many types of opening and combination options. High dimensional accuracy and excellent surface finish. Sturdy rollers with optional height adjustment facility.
